New To the SCA?

We are the Canton of Ealdnordwuda. We are a local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism covering the Lansing Michigan area. Newcomers should visit our Resources page.

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international non-profit volunteer educational organization. Our Canton is just one group within the Middle Kingdom.

The SCA is devoted to the research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, culture, and employing knowledge of history to enrich the lives of participants through events, demonstrations, and other educational presentations and activities.

Monthly Meeting

Business meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the MSU Agricultural Pavillion. These meetings coincide with Fighter Practice.

Wednesday Gatherings

Wednesday nights are our group meeting for socializing and sharing our talents, members will bring out their art and science projects and typically we have space for Rapier and Armored combat. These nights are typically held at the MSU Agricultural Pavillion (4301 Farm Ln, Lansing, MI 48910) from 6 – 9 p.m. We are outside when the weather is nice; otherwise, we are inside the auditorium to the right of the main doors.

Sometimes the Pavillion is not available. For up-to-date information, see our Facebook Group or email our Seneschal, Lady Brigida Alderotti.
